Effective September 1, 2008, a 2% civic assessment will be charged on all sales of tangible personal property (including food, beverage, and lodging charges) within the Breckenridge Mountain Master Association (BMMA) boundary. This assessment provides funding for the BMMA (which is a non-profit corporation) to provide maintenance and upkeep of the common areas within such boundary.
RockResorts and Vail Resorts Hospitality packages all resort service items under one daily Resort Fee, which will include parking, Internet access, and other services and amenities. The Resort fee is 15 per day. Resort fees will be collected directly by the Hotel at time of Check Out.

The Mountain Thunder Lodge offers upscale condominium lodging in Breckenridge, below Peak 8 on North Park Avenue.

The property features an outdoor heated swimming pool, three hot tubs, exercise facilities, and a children's playground. Covered parking, ski storage, a 24-hour front desk, and meeting rooms are also offered.

Guest units range from one-bedroom units to three-bedroom units. Decor combines luxury fabrics, furnishings, and amenities with a classic, lodge-style ambiance. All condos include high-speed Internet access, a full kitchen (conventional and microwave ovens, refrigerator with icemaker, range, dishwasher), spacious living room, dining room, fireplace, cable TV, coffeemaker, voicemail, dataport, and a private balcony. Many condos have DVD players.

As part of this initiative, a voluntary donation of 1 per room for each night of your stay will automatically be added to your bill. 100% of your contribution will be forwarded to the National Forest Foundation. For every dollar contributed by guests, the National Forest Foundation will invest 1.50 in on-the-ground conservation.
